Summer Sylvans: STEM: July 14 – 18 from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm: This camp remains at the museum and has the children conduct fun science experiments and learn through STEM activities. We will have the kids build items, discuss forestry professions that use STEM, etc. In 2024, we learned about potential energy, made catapults out of popsicle sticks, completed the longest paper chain challenge, created paper plate marble maze, etc. A camp for children entering 2nd – 5th grade in the fall. The camp is every day from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm (Noon) and costs $50 per child (scholarships available upon request). For more information, please call (936) 632-9535.
